For Perfect Sausages you will need...
Serve 2-4 sausages per person, depending on appetite, gender, lifestyle...Here's how...
Check out this amazing sausage website here, it has loads of recipes for sausages, as well as information on sourcing the best bangers in the land.Sausages can be cooked on their own, or in other dishes like Sausage and lentil casserole
To check if sausages are cooked, cut one open to see if is still pinky raw in the middle. If so, just continue cooking and check again.
To cook on their own:
Fry
Cook the sausages on a medium heat in a dry frying pan, turning carefully every 3 or 4 minutes, cooking for a total of 20 minutes. Check if they are done as above.
Bake
This is the easiest way I find, as you can just pop them in the oven and leave them to get on with it!
Keep sausages chilled in the fridge prior to use where they will last for
or else freeze them, cooked or raw. To defrost, simply leave out (covered on a plate or in a bowl) in a cool room (or fridge - however make sure they ar in a sealed box in this case to prevent any raw sausage juice dripping into the salad drawer, or anywhere else for that matter...), or defrost in the microwave on the defrost or low heat setting.
