This isn't a recipe as such, simply a reccomendation. Add a couple of vanilla pods to a bag or jar of caster sugar, leave it for a week and you will have vanilla sugar, use it in cakes puddings or add to coffee.

Instead of vanilla pods, try adding cinnamon sticks for cinnamon sugar.
